লড়াই, এই শব্দটা প্রত্যেকের কাছে ভিন্ন ভিন্ন মানে নিয়ে আসে, কারো কাছে ভালো জামা, ভালো খাবার , আবার কারো কাছে ওই একটু কম ছেড়া জামাটা পাওয়ার জন্য লড়াই, বইয়ের ছেড়া পাতা গুলোকে জুড়ে কোনোরকমে পড়া চালানোর লড়াই, একটা শেষ হয়ে যাওয়া রবারকে যতটা ঘষে ব্যবহার করা যায় তার লড়াই। জীবন সংগ্রামে আমরা সবাই লড়ছি, কিন্তু যারা সহায় সম্বলহীন, সমাজের উচ্ছিষ্ট হিসেবে গণ্য তাদের লড়াইটা একটু কঠিন, আর উড়ান সেই লড়াইয়ের সহযাত্রী মাত্র। আপনি আজ উড়ানে যোগদান করলেন মানে ওই অবহেলিত শিশুগুলোর জীবন সংগ্রামে একটু হলেও অংশীদার হলেন। আর সেই জীবন সংগ্রামে আপনাকে স্বাগত। দান উড়ান করেনা, সেই ক্ষমতা উড়ানের নেই, উড়ান শুধু সহায়সম্বলহীন ভাইবোনদের হাতটুকু ধরে আছে তাদের জীবন যুদ্ধের সহযোগী হিসেবে। আপনার এই মূল্যবান যোগদান, আপনার ছোট ছোট সাহায্য উড়ানকে বটবৃক্ষে রূপান্তরিত করবে বলেই বিশ্বাস করি যার আশ্রয়ে বহু শিশু বড় হবে, হাসবে, খেলবে, সমাজকে চিনবে নতুন রূপে। আসুন আমরা সবাই হাতের উপর হাত রেখে উঠে দাড়াই আর একযোগে বলে উঠি কবি সুকান্তের সেই ছত্র-
“এ বিশ্বকে শিশুর বাসযোগ্য করে যাব আমি, নবজাতকের কাছে এ আমার অঙ্গীকার।”

Every member of Uran has directly or indirectly felt that Uran knows magic. Uran Welfare Society, a voluntary organization that works primarily on Child Development and Women Empowerment. Reaching out to different regions, we organize some quizzes, merit tests or some cultural events with some poor children and share some beautiful moments with them, try to give them a few important lessons, some educational goods , and food of whatever amount we could. At the end of the day, we get the immortal smile on their faces, which is our only return gift. Not only does the URAN bring a little peace of mind in this busy life, but at the same time every member of Uran has got a very nice family, and has made a lot of friends. So URAN is not just an NGO, Uran is also a family.

আমাদের উড়ান পরিবারে স্বাগতম। তোমার সংযুক্তি নিঃসন্দেহে আমাদের এই ছোট্ট পরিবারটিকে আরোও সুন্দর ও সমৃদ্ধ করে তুলবে, এটা আমাদের বিশ্বাস। তবে আমাদের সাথে কাঁধে কাঁধ মিলিয়ে কাজ করার আগে এটা জানা খুব দরকার যে, উড়ান কী, কেন এবং কিভাবে কাজ করে।
২০১৮ সালের ১লা মে একবুক স্বপ্ন নিয়ে উড়ান পথ চলতে শুরু করেছিল। তারপর বিভিন্ন সময়, বিভিন্ন জায়গায়, নানান উপলক্ষে ও বিপদের সময় উড়ান তার কাজের ছাপ রেখে এসেছে বরাবর। নানান ঝড়ঝাপটা, ভাঙাগড়া সামলে দৃঢ়ভাবে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে এবং থাকবে, তোমাদের পাশে পেলে। কারণ, তোমরা, অর্থাৎ সদস্যরাই হলে এই পরিবারের প্রাণভোমরা।
তাই, চলো পরবর্তী কাজের সময় থেকে কাঁধে কাঁধ মিলিয়ে, হাতে হাত রেখে লড়াইয়ে নামি। একসাথে অনেক কাজ বাকি, অনেকটা পথ চলা বাকি। শুধু চাই নিঃস্বার্থভাবে সমাজের সেবায় নিজেদের সঁপে দেওয়ার অঙ্গীকার আর কাজ করার অদম্য জেদ। উড়ান একদিন ডানা মেলে উড়বেই।

"উড়ান" নামটার মধ্যেই জড়িয়ে আছে একরাশ স্বপ্ন নিয়ে উড়ে চলার অঙ্গীকার।"উড়ান" মানেই নিজের সবটুকু উজাড় করে দেওয়া কিছু অসহায় মানুষের মুখের অমূল্য হাসি ফোটানোর জন্য। আর সদস্য হিসেবে প্রাপ্তি "উড়ান" নামে এক পরিবার, যে পরিবারে প্রত্যেকটা মানুষ সুখে-দুঃখে একে অপরের পাশে থাকে, নিজেদের মধ্যে ভাগ করে নেয় প্রতিটি সুন্দর মুহূর্ত, পরিবারের কোনো সদস্যের সমস্যায় বাকি সদস্যদের সবকিছু দিয়ে ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়ে সমাধানের প্রচেষ্টা। আমি নিজে "উড়ান"পরিবারের সদস্য হতে পেরে খুব গর্বিত এবং নিজেকে ভাগ্যবান মনে করি। জানিনা পরিবারের জন্য কতটা কি করতে পেরেছি কিন্তু পরিবার থেকে আমি পেয়েছি অনেক কিছু। আমরা প্রত্যেকেই নিজেদের জীবন নিয়ে ব্যস্ত তারপরেও সবাই অধীর আগ্রহে বসে থাকি কবে উড়ানের কাজ আসবে এবং আমরা পরিবারের সকল সদস্যরা একত্রিত হব। আর প্রতিবারই কাজের শেষে মনে হয় 'ইসসসসস!! দিনটা কি করে এত তাড়াতাড়ি শেষ হয়ে গেল আরেকটু কি বড় হতে পারত না দিনটা।।'

উড়ানের প্রথম দিন থেকেই আমি উড়ানের সাথে যুক্ত| উড়ান আমার কাছে দ্বিতীয় পরিবারের মতো |উড়ানে আমার অভিজ্ঞতা শেয়ার করার মতো কিছু নেই,পরিবারের ঘরের লোক হয়েই আছি র থাকবো| উড়ানে যুক্ত হতে আমি সবাইকে বলি যাদের আমি চিনি কারণ উড়ান হলো একমাত্র জায়গা যেখানে স্বাধীন ভাবে থেকে সমাজের কাছে সাহায্য পৌঁছে দেওয়া যায়|উড়ানের পরিবারের সদস্য হতে পেরে আমি গর্বিত| আমি নিশ্চিত এই পরিবারের এ ভালো বন্ধুর অভাব নেই|

Since 2018, I have been a member of this NGO and as far as my satisfaction is concerned with helping the poor and the needy, Uran has always been my first go-to place. I have always given this organisation a very high priority as in my personal experience, Uran has never failed to go one step ahead whenever there is a project. As the name itself suggests 'flight', I have always felt a sense of touching the sky when I saw that beautiful smile on the faces of little children when Uran came into their lives. It makes me really happy to share this experience with Uran as I feel people with a good heart and a determination to provide for that part of the society which is in need of help should join us. Our urge to make the world a better place is the heart and soul of uran and our strong will to grow and bloom so that we can reach as many people as possible is the driving force of this organization. The best thing about Uran is that we are a family, we get along with each and everyone of us not just as mere members but as one would with their own family members and the unique part about this family is that there is always a room for one more. Everyone of us has a task to perform in this organisation and everyone has a special place in our NGO so that they don't feel left out. All that being said, I am glad that Uran found me when I was really motivated to commit some selfless deeds in my life and I am proud that I have been able to experience this journey since the moment Uran was born.

Rules
If anyone breaks any of the mentioned rules or commits any criminal act under any circumstances, their fate lies in the hands of the in act Governing Body of Uran Welfare Society.

Respect and obey the ideology of human service and social reform, which has been taken up by Uran.

It is mandatory to participate in Uran's projects, meetings & events spontaneously. If anyone is absent in any way, it is also mandatory to state the reason. Breaking the above rule will result in termination of membership.

If you want to become a member of Uran, you have to pay a minimum monthly subscription of 20 rupees but more can be given if desired. Everyone should clear their subscription within 15th of the month. If anyone is not able to do so, they also should definitely inform at least one governing body member about it.

Donation & subscription are not the same thing. We receive donation before any project or event from both members of Uran as well as non-members of Uran, which is not be confused with your monthly subscriptions.

Uran will seek suggestions from its members on all issues, but the final decision will be made by Uran's Governing Body. So, Uran's Governing Body and the decisions taken by them must be respected.

Any member wishing to complete any project through Uran is welcome. But before that, it is compulsory to take the permission of Uran's Governing Body.

If any member skips three consecutive meetings or avoids to pay his/ her subscription without any valid reason for three consecutive months then he /she will be handed a show-cause notice. After 30 days if any satisfactory reply is not received then his/her membership will be terminated with immediate effect.

Every member should present in at least 50 percent of the works which will be organized by the society time to time & if anyone can't be able to do so, they should inform the governing body members about it.

A member is obliged to pay Subscription and Donation simultaneously.
The subscription of a member will be used in Maintenance of Uran Welfare Society (e.g., website, i’card, Refreshments of member during projects time etc.)
The donation will be used for our projects only. (If there is no mention of any particular or exceptional purpose).
After using the maintenance charge of Uran Welfare Society, the remaining amount of subscription will be declared as donation and it will be used for projects.
